Transitional Kindergarten Plus

Our comprehensive, full-day Transitional Kindergarten Plus program offers 4- and 5-year-olds an engaging, high-quality education delivered by trained, dedicated teachers. With our decades of expertise in early education, We’re ALL IN on preparing your child for elementary school! We’re committed to kindergarten readiness for every child and much more: Live streaming video, personalized learning experiences, all-day child care, and healthy meals and snacks. Note: Child must be age 4 by Sept. 1.

Pre-Kindergarten

The Stratford pre-kindergarten curriculum teaches students to ask questions and think critically. Pre-K students begin their day with imaginative STEAM play, designed to develop their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. They enjoy Spanish class several times a week, and progress at a faster rate than other pre-K students because of Stratford’s focus on English language fundamentals. You’ll find that your child’s teachers care deeply about each student and about their families. The relationships and friendships your child develops here will shape their future success. Transitional Kindergarten

Our Transitional Kindergarten program is designed for children who are not quite ready for our Kindergarten program and their birthday falls between September 2 and February 2. It provides an exceptional opportunity for children to learn all of the Kindergarten essentials at a pace that helps build confidence and skills and sets them up for success in Kindergarten and beyond.

L’Academy’s bilingual Pre-K / TK program prepares children for kindergarten with a focus on early literacy, math, English readiness, and independence. Through structured lessons and leadership opportunities, children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and school readiness.

Preschool Program

L’Academy Preschool nurtures whole-child development through play-based learning inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Children build confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking while developing Mandarin and/or Spanish bilingual skills and English readiness.

Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. Teachers model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and build friendships. Children also learn to express themselves through writing and telling complete stories.

Preschool Program

Hands-on preschool program with a strong focus on school readiness. Children are encouraged to think independently and express their individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes: math, science, language, and spanish. Children begin to expand social skills and build friendships.

Preschool

Preschoolers are eager learners, exploring their world with curiosity and excitement. Our preschool program builds upon their natural interests, incorporating early literacy, math, science, and creative expression into their daily routines. Play-based learning helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and social connections. Key Focus areas are developing early literacy and numeracy skills, encouraging creative expression through art, music, and dramatic play, building independence and confidence in learning, and enhancing social and problem-solving skills through group activities.

Pre-kindergarten & Kindergarten

Students need to be 4 years by the month of December to join the program. Classrooms are setup for 24 students with a 1:12 teacher to student ratio. Classrooms are equipped with the full range of Montessori activities. Along with Montessori lessons, students are introduced to an array of new topics every week. Students' complete theme based math and language worksheets on a daily basis. Teachers track the students' progress in the class and fill out an evaluation form for each child. Parent teacher conferences are conducted twice a year where the teacher gets to share each student's progress and development goals with the parent. This is a well rounded program that focuses on intellectual, cognitive, social and emotional growth of the child and prepare students for elementary education.
