Early Preschool

It’s never too early to start preparing your child to be ready for school, and that’s why our parents—and their children—love our Early Preschool classroom. As a stepping stone to Preschool, our Early Preschool program has a unique, indicator-based curriculum, Learn as We Grow™, designed to address the individual learning needs of 30- to 42-month-old children. Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Pre-Kindergarten

Stepping Stone School's pre-kindergarten program prepares children for Kindergarten readiness by focusing on pre-reading cognition and important social-emotional skills. Our highly trained teachers tailor weekly theme-based learning plans to each child's needs, following the Platinum Learning for Lif™ curriculum. State-of-the-art learning centers promote mastery in literacy, math, science, technology, art, and music. Writing skills are developed through journaling and BOB Books, while dual language proficiency is practiced in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). Our program emphasizes independence, cooperation, and character building through classroom responsibilities and small group activities. Advanced Pre-K
