Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Before and After School

Our before and aftercare program is designed to help our children embrace their imaginations and explore their world, while encouraging safe and healthy activities. Our programs have weekly themes that are explored throughout the room which encourage interactive learning in a variety of nontraditional subjects. We also have a study hall area where we provide assistance with homework and projects, and a game area where students have the chance to relax from their challenging days at school. Every student is provided a nutritious morning and afternoon snack, and transportation is provided at no additional cost.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks. Elementary schools bussed to: Tuscarora Elementary, Carroll Creek Montessori, Carroll Manor Elementary, and Ballenger Creek Elementary Schools.

School Age Before and After Care

Elementary schools bussed to: At this time we service Waverly Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Hillcrest Elementary. If your child attends a school that is not on this list, please call us and we will let you know if we can add that school to our route.

Back-Up Care

With Lightbridge Academy’s back-up care, parents can reserve a day here and there — or even up to weeks at a time — at your local center. Back-up child care is available at all Lightbridge Academy locations on a space-available basis for infants through school-aged children.
