Parent Reviews
The success of the KinderCare Westview is pretty much depended on the Director and Assistant Director. They make everyone comfortable, welcomed and, most of all, always ready to listen to any problem or concerns parents have. At least that is my personal experience. All the teachers, from the baby room to School Age, with no exception, are all kind, friendly, concerned about the kids and parents. I totally love this KinderCare. My daughter has been to other daycare centers and I tell you, this is the best of the best. My kids love their teachers. Even my son that recently started the Discovery Preschool adapted really quick. I would recommend KinderCare Westview to any parent looking for a daycare that keeps the kids safe while learning in the process. Having care for my kids with peace of mind is extremely important to me.
Although my son transitioned from an individual care provider to KinderCare recently, he loves his new teachers and classroom. He enjoys the increased level of activities and attention the center is able to provide. I also appreciate the level of engagement with toddlers his own age. I know his day is focused on age-appropriate curriculum conducted in a safe environment for him to explore and learn.
We came to Westview KinderCare about a year ago now. My four children had always been in a daycare setting, and unfortunately, we were coming to Westview KinderCare to leave a not so good situation at my children's prior daycare. This was a hard transition for my children (and me), as my oldest started daycare at eight weeks and had turned five her first week at KinderCare - but her teachers, Ms. Crysee and Ms. Angie, made the transition so easy for her...she instantly was part of this amazing KinderCare family. The Center Director, Renee, has always been available to chat and keeps communication open with the parents through a weekly newsletter - which I had not gotten at our previous center. The newsletter via email has been a great resource to talk to my children about their day, plan our dinner menu (as they include a lunch menu) and find activities around Frederick to do with my children outside of daycare. Although I cannot speak to all of the teachers, who I am sure are still fabulous, the highlight of my visit to KinderCare when choosing a new center was Ms. Betsie. My oldest son looked in the room on our visitation day, walked right over to the teacher, Ms. Betsie, and sat down to do an art porject - stamping (which I still have). That let me know that although we had been through some tough times at the previous daycare we had found our new home. Seeing that I brought two additional families from the prior center last year, and since had a colleague enroll her child. I would say we are very happy to be at Westview KinderCare, because I would not recommend just any center to people who are important to me.
