The infant room is a calm, cozy and thoughtfully arranged to support the developmental needs of the youngest learners. The space includes cribs, carpet, soft padded play area, and low open shelving. Teachers in the infant room focus on building loving, responsive relationships with each child.

Toddler Care Program

This classroom is a lively, nurturing space designed to support curious, energetic children typically between the ages of 12-24 months. This stage is all about discovery, movement, and growing independence. Teachers in the toddler room offer consistent routine and loving guidance.

Infants

Our infant room is designed to foster bonds and relationships with teachers & other babies while incorporating American Sign Language, music, & gross motor activities. Infants at The Learning Cottage know they are safe & loved as they develop social, cognitive, & motor skills in a home-like setting.

Toddlers

Our Toddlers eagerly enter their room with smiles, toddling to their teachers and peers. Daily activities include American Sign Language, music, outdoor experiences, motor and muscle activities, sensorial experiences, and more. Toddlers follow a monthly umbrella theme and weekly sub-themes that enhance their academic skills while nurturing their social-emotional development.

Infants

The multi-sensory navigations of their environment, the spontaneity of observing, the desire to experience life with and through their body and the pleasure of enjoying human development in a natural way are the focus of our curriculum. Toddler Classroom

As toddlers are rapidly developing both physically and cognitively, the Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered, and their language and communication skills are nurtured. A lifelong love of learning starts early, and we believe in providing brand-new learners with the tools they need to be successful. Infants

Our infant room is designed to feel just like home, with dedicated spaces for eating, sleeping, and play. We bottle-feed babies in rocking chairs, just as they would be comforted at home. Each infant follows their own schedule, and our caring staff prioritizes warm, nurturing interactions.

Our Wobbler and Toddler programs provide a nurturing, stimulating environment where children develop essential motor, language, social, and emotional skills through hands-on activities and guided exploration.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.
