Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program is for children not quite old enough for kindergarten or who may need additional skill development. This is the path for young 5-year-olds. We explore the structure and format of a day in kindergarten, with developmentally appropriate kindergarten curriculum. This program helps develop the critical skills your child needs for elementary school, such as: following multi-step instructions, organizing work, controlling impulses, sustaining attention, and finding multiple ways to solve problems. Our four year old classes are designed for children who are four years old on or before September 1. Each class has 16 children, a lead teacher and a floating assistant. The Fours classes focus on Kindergarten readiness. Enrichment activities include weekly Spanish, music, library, and chapel.

Kinder Bridge

Designed for students who seem ready for Kindergarten but turn 5 after Sept. 1 or students who are old enough for Kindergarten, but would benefit from another year of preparation, our Kinder Bridge program has a strong academic focus to prepare each child to become confident and Kindergarten-ready.
