Preschool

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual — enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. Our proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen your child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math. Pre-K

Preschool Program

Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. Teachers model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and build friendships. Children also learn to express themselves through writing and telling complete stories.

Laurel and Lumberton, NJ, is designed to meet the rapidly advancing needs of children between the ages of 2 and 3 in a fun, safe, and supportive environment, which is why we’ve named this group the Hummingbirds. At Laurel Tree Academy, we understand this is a crucial time for development, where toddlers make huge leaps in language, social skills, and independence. Our approach is centered on a hands-on, discovery-based curriculum where we explore and experiment with art, music, science, language, literature, technology, and math. At Laurel Tree Academy, our preschool program for three year olds in Mt. Laurel and Lumberton NJ, is specifically designed for three-year-olds to embark on a journey of discovery. Known as the Owls, this program provides children aged 3 to 4 with a nurturing environment where they can explore the exciting world around them. We believe that learning should be both meaningful and fun, which is why our educational philosophy is play-based. Our unique “Here We Grow” curriculum integrates S.T.R.E.A.M. components (Science, Technology, Reading/Relationships, Engineering, Art & Music) alongside proven programs like High Scope® and Handwriting Without Tears® to deliver a well-rounded education.
