The Preschool years are an exciting time at IMA! At age 3, we will work with you to select from one of the many targeted language models we offer across our three campuses. Parents can choose from our full immersion or bilingual learning programs.

Preschool Care

Nasteho Childcare provides a nurturing preschool environment where children learn through their imagination and exploration. Everyday helps children practice communication, creativity, involvement, and independence in a fun engaging way.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. Preschool

Ninety percent of a child’s brain is developed by age five! That’s why preschool—with critically important cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional stimulation—impacts a child’s development long-term. Preschool helps produce higher high school graduation rates, reduced instances of crime or teen pregnancy, greater socialization and earning potential throughout their lives. Preschool-age children in the Explorers Classroom understand the idea of rules and they’re learning to play with their peers. Our Explorers Classroom curriculum help children delve into different topics through age-appropriate and engaging activities and helps build the foundation for Kindergarten readiness. Preschoolers in the Explorers Classroom will experience hands-on learning daily through a wide range of activities and develop fine motor skills that will help with writing and practice gross motor skills outdoors to gain better control over larger muscles. Pre-K

Children in the Pathfinders Classroom will be asked to complete more concrete tasks to ensure they’re prepared for the next step in their education. Our goal is to ensure your child has mastered all the necessary skills to enter Kindergarten by providing individual planning, challenging your child, and considering their progress. Pre-K children in the Pathfinders Classroom will strengthen math, science, writing, reading, arts, and physical skills through differentiation and small group activities. They will also work on mastering key Kindergarten-required skills. Prices are subject to change.

Moon Beams

Our preschool program for 3–4 year olds nurtures independence, friendships, and a love of learning. Through play, art, stories, and outdoor exploration, teachers support social skills, problem-solving, and creativity in a joyful, caring environment.

Rainbow Birds

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten through play-based projects, early literacy, and problem-solving. Teachers nurture independence, creativity, and collaboration, helping children develop the skills and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The Orcas Room builds kindergarten‑ready skills through child‑led, play‑based learning. Children practice collaboration, problem‑solving, numeracy, literacy, and community engagement, with city outings reinforcing confidence, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning.

Nurture and Grow Preschool

Our older kids learn, empathy through being a blended class. We break into small groups to do more complex and challenging preschool activities. Our preschoolers love to bake & prepare snack as part of their daily activities. We are happy, kind, emotionally, intelligent, and smart when we graduate!

Our Language Play Immersion program now offers flexible half-day weekly sessions in Spanish and Mandarin, perfect for families looking to build consistent language exposure without a full-time commitment.

Child & Caregiver

Caregivers actively participate alongside their little learners - building confidence, connection, and shared joy. Together, you’ll sing, move, play games, explore stories, and practice simple phrases in Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, or French all guided by our teachers.
