Parent Reviews
We are so grateful for the incredible care our children received at Nurture and Grow Childcare! The teachers are warm, loving, patient (don't have enough words to describe how great they are!), and genuinely invested in the kids’ growth and happiness. Our children always felt safe, loved, and excited to go each day, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment here. Communication with parents is wonderful, and it’s clear how much thought and heart goes into everything they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better start for our kids and will always treasure the experience. HIGHLY recommend it!
Both of my kids were at the childcare, they loved every minute of it and still talk about the years spent there. They really care about the kids and take such interest in their development. I love that the kids are around varying age groups, my son is great with babies and older kids because of it. We were sad when our time came to an end
Our son was at Annie's daycare from age 20 months to 5 years (from 2018-2022 it was at a different location but same staff). When he was at Annie's care I appreciated how she knew each child so well and truly nurtured them. You can tell that this is something she is meant to do. Our son loved going there- so much creative and imaginative play, art projects, and outside time. Once he started kindergarten, I REALLY appreciated all the social and emotional learning that Annie and the team incorporated into their daily routines. I remember a lot of emphasis on kindness and treating others with respect, and as he got older he learned how to regulate his behavior around babies/toddlers (shout out to the mixed-age group) which was an experience he did not have at home (or would have gotten at Bright Horizons, where he was before joining Annie's). We had such a great experience there, our only regret is that we didn't start there sooner! My son says, "I really liked the room with the mats and building forts".
We are so grateful for Nurture and Grow! We've been part of this community for over seven years, sending both of our kids through their program. We recommend them to every family looking for care. The teachers create a loving environment full of enrichment, giving every child space to explore and grow. The student-led curriculum encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence through play-based activities tailored to their interests and abilities. The mixed-age setting reinforces skills in kindness and patience. The outdoor space is unmatched. The kids can spend as much time outside as they want. Annie provides all meals and diapers, and even does some laundry for you! We are also appreciative of the diversity in the teaching staff and student body; a reflection of our city's cultural richness. Our son has been particularly attached to his male teachers. Our daughter was well-prepared when she started kindergarten, both academically and social-emotionally. Our son is still a preschooler, but he's clearly on the same path. This is an extraordinary environment for your children. Take a tour, meet Annie (ask about her journey from Peace Corps to owning her own childcare -- it's a compelling story), speak to her references (like me!). You won't find another full-time childcare provider like this one.
