Designed for the interests of today’s active students, our school-age program offers a safe, fun and supervised environment to start or end the school day. In our school-age classroom, we’ve created a before and after school space that supports your child’s experience in school – without making them feel like they’re still in school. And during school holidays and summer months, we offer a full-day program rich in hands-on activities and exciting field trips!

Summer Camp

Our Legendary Summer Camp is packed with fun, exploration, and adventure—just as summer should be! Every week brings a new theme, exciting field trips, hands-on STEM activities, creative art projects, and special guest experiences. Where else can your child cool off at a water park, observe a giraffe up close, build and fly their own kite, tour a professional football stadium? Only at Legendary Summer Camp at The Sunshine House!

Private Kindergarten

This program follows the guiding philosophy of fun learning while preparing children with essential skills they will need for success in first grade and beyond.

Before and After School Care

We offer before- and after-school care at most of our child care centers. As a part of our before-school program, children may be dropped off in the morning and most locations provide breakfast before transporting or transitioning them to school or one of our onsite school-age or state Pre-K programs. Our after-school programs also offer homework support, learning opportunities, and social skills development for children. We offer various activities across age ranges from structured exploration of different cultures and destinations, to supervised play and games, to more independent play and homework support for the older students. Our after-school program provides homework support and fosters character development through group activities and additional playtime.

Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

Math Program (3-5)

The Kumon Math Program will start developing your child’s very first math skills, including counting, writing numbers, mental calculations and even addition and subtraction.

Reading Program (3-5)

The Kumon Reading Program starts your pre-readers off with fun “look, listen and repeat” worksheets. Colorful illustrations help connect words to familiar objects, to start putting words together. Your child will progress to identify nouns, verbs and adjectives, and use them within sentences.
