Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Preschool - Spencer the Bear

Ages 2.5 - 4 years old learn in this room with two teachers; we have a 1:10 teacher to student ratio in every classroom. We offer creative movement, physical education, neighborhood walks to the Eugene Public Library (with the aid of Downtown Guides), and cooking adventures for all students.

Pre-K - Skinner the Fox

Toddler - Les Abeilles & Les Chatons

This class focuses mainly on fostering the development of social-emotional skills & interactions with pairs. This helps the children navigate in a structured classroom setting. An emphasis is put on learning to share, building friendships, & autonomy within a nurturing & safe group environment.

Preschool - Les Ecureuils

Introduces discovery and exploration through art, songs, movement, stories, & manipulatives. Fostering the development of social skills, we help your child’s personality bloom. An emphasis is put on learning to share, building friendships, & autonomy within a nurturing & safe group environment.

Skolhus Daycare

We provide limited infant spots in our small in home program with low teacher to student ratios. Infant spots are limited to two spots at any given time. Teachers are trained in infant CPR and have extensive experience working with infants.

Skolhus Preschool

Our curriculum is play-based and guided by children’s interests. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, creativity, and exploration. Throughout the day, children engage in art, sensory play, imaginative play, movement, and outdoor experiences.
