Nido

Nido, which means “nest” in Italian, perfectly describes the nurturing setting for our youngest learners. At this stage, small children are seen as explorers and scientists. The multi-sensory navigations of their environment, the spontaneity of observing, the desire to experience life with and through their body and the pleasure of enjoying human development in a natural way are the focus of our curriculum. A successful early learning environment fosters a community marked by meaningful relationships among young children and the adults in their lives—parents, teachers, and caregivers. These connections flourish through shared learning experiences in nature and through emotional connections. The community cultivates and sustains developmentally appropriate conditions that enable children to optimize their individual potential. From this perspective, the cultivation of purposeful practices, presenting thoughtfully prepared environments that challenge children, emerges as the ideal blueprint for the development of positive school experiences for children and their families.

Preschool

As children transition from the Nido program to our Preschool program, they enter a phase of the curriculum that builds upon on their expanded vocabulary. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Explorations are based upon long term projects throughout the year, allowing students to build upon previously mastered concepts, deepening their ability to learn. Through these interdisciplinary projects, children engage in foundational learning skills such as math, science, social studies, and language arts in meaningful ways.

Preschool

Preschool program featuring educational play and social experiences that helps children develop a lifelong love of learning.

VPK Extended Day

Extended-day option for VPK-eligible children. Child must be 4 by September 1 of the program year.

Infants

Our infant program offers a warm and nurturing environment where your baby feels safe, loved, and supported. Our skilled caregivers prioritize early developmental milestones, providing personalized attention and care tailored to each infant’s unique needs. Through age-appropriate activities, we promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and cognitive development, sparking curiosity and fostering learning. We also ensure that each infant's routine, from feeding to sleeping, aligns with their natural rhythms, creating a comforting and consistent experience to help them thrive in these critical early stages of life.

Toddlers

By the time our little ones turn two, they’ve mastered walking and are ready to find their voice. Circle time becomes even more interactive, with active student participation. Hands-on learning and child input make the experience more engaging and exciting. They are introduced to colors and shapes, while also developing important social skills like sharing and learning to care for others. At this stage, two truly is terrific!

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Infant Daycare

Infant program offering a physically and emotionally safe place for your baby to explore and learn about the world around them. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence. Photos of the children’s families cover the walls of the classroom, creating a sense of community. Daily routine includes: outdoor play, circle time, dance & movement, reading, art, music, and free play.

Infants

Our children begin as young as 6 weeks of age, and are nurtured in a warm and safe daycare environment: soothing music, soft bedding and play areas, and loving hands meeting every need. They are fed, and cleaned, and cuddled to their hearts delight. They begin their learning, too. Lots of books are read to them, and songs are sung by the scores. They begin learning about sharing, and taking turns. By the time they are one-years-old, they are ready to join the ranks of the exciting world of the toddler room.

Toddlers

The one-year-old classroom is a whirl-wind of excitement, filled with fun and new friends with whom to toddle. Perfecting the art of walking, then running is the first talent our children attain. Learning how to eat with utensils, and drink from a cup is only the beginning. They begin to discover the joy of learning through circle time, and the continued journey of books, and stories at daycare. Sharing and taking turns is only a first step of what they will learn as a friend, and there is so much to discover on their own in the playtime centers.

We know that your toddler can learn a lot in their early years just by exploring and playing with other kids. Our teachers support this learning through daily routines and activities that focus on health, physical development, social-emotional skills, language, and more. In our safe and structured environment, your child will take their first steps toward independence, all while having fun and building positive relationships with their peers.
