Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Pre-Kindergarten

Stepping Stone School's pre-kindergarten program prepares children for Kindergarten readiness by focusing on pre-reading cognition and important social-emotional skills. Our highly trained teachers tailor weekly theme-based learning plans to each child's needs, following the Platinum Learning for Lif™ curriculum. State-of-the-art learning centers promote mastery in literacy, math, science, technology, art, and music. Writing skills are developed through journaling and BOB Books, while dual language proficiency is practiced in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). Our program emphasizes independence, cooperation, and character building through classroom responsibilities and small group activities. With a comprehensive approach that includes literacy, language, physical activity, and critical thinking, we support children's overall development at Stepping Stone School.

Advanced Pre-K

Our comprehensive program also prioritizes healthy habits, motor skill development, independence, and cooperation. GLA’s Pre-K is a play-based yet academically rigorous program for 4-year-olds. TEKS-aligned curriculum in small 8:1 classes builds a strong foundation for kindergarten. San Marcos, TX. Must be fully potty trained.

Luna Montessori

Luna Montessori offers a cozy, state-licensed toddler program for ages 16 months–3 years. With only 6 children Mon–Thu, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM, we blend Montessori, outdoor exploration, Spanish, sign language, music, and Conscious Discipline to nurture confidence, curiosity, and joyful growth.
