Voluntary Pre-k
Florida VPK prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond by using educational materials corresponding to various stages of development. Eligible children must live in Florida and be four years old on/before September 1 of the current school year. Customize learning instruction for language and literacy; physical, social and emotional development; mathematic and scientific inquiry; and creative expression through the arts. Monitor skills progression after assessing baseline learning levels. Equip parents to assist their children via learning resources. Help kids to perform better in school and throughout life.

Voluntary Pre-K (VPK)
The 'Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program' (VPK) is a free prekindergarten program for 4-year-olds who reside in Florida and were born on or before September 1 each year. VPK provides 540 instructional hours during the school year and gives each child an opportunity to perform better in school and throughout life with strong emphasis on early literacy skills, accountability, manageable class sizes and qualified instructors.
