Twos

This classroom is the perfect environment for terrific 2-year-olds. As your child grows more active, becoming an explorer, we provide a safe, engaging environment for them to develop. Learning experiences for 2-year-olds are based around key developmental milestones for this age group, as defined by our exclusive Learn from the Start™curriculum. We’re also here when you need us. Toddler

Our Creative Curriculum is designed to build cognitive and critical thinking skills while tapping into each child’s ultimate learning potential. Starting as early as toddler age, our unique combination of advanced learning and creative discovery builds confidence and a lifetime love of learning.

Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Program

Children gain comprehension through interactive learning journeys rather than memorization, exploring ‘how’ and ‘why,’ and developing life-long learning advantages.

Toddlers

Our Toddler program provides opportunities for children to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, build their vocabulary, and explore foundational scientific concepts. Our teachers understand the challenges that one-year-olds face in a social learning setting, and have experience in helping them adjust to the give and take of the classroom environment.

Beginners

The Beginner program, for children ages 2-3, introduces more routine and structure to the children’s activities and schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn foundational mathematical skills, and will be encouraged to use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences. The concepts of social studies, diversity, and Spanish are introduced as our Beginners examine and explore the world around them.

Infant Program

StarChild Academy realizes that the highest priority for parents with infants is to have caring, nurturing caregivers that provide personal and undivided attention to their child's needs, including lots of social interaction and stimulating activities.

Toddler Program

Toddlers are insatiably curious about the world around them. While they still need proactive attention to their personal needs, toddlers are beginning to grow quite independent. During this phase of their development, their language, mobility, and motor skills are advancing rapidly.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.
