Summer Camp Program

Cycle 2/3

Our Elementary school group includes grades 1 through 6. We follow the French Ministry of Education's curriculum but add English with a US teacher to ensure all of our students are bilingual.

L'Institut Bilingue de Chicago (Cycle 4)

IBC provides graduates of our elementary program a three year course to prepare for the Brevet des Ecoles (9th grade examination). It is bilingual and can be on premises at our Winnetka campus, remote or hybrid.

Preschool

The Gardner School’s preschool program fosters curiosity, independence, and cognitive growth through hands-on learning and cooperative play. Using the World of Wonders (WOW) curriculum, teachers introduce language, literacy, math, and science while supporting social-emotional development. Learning centers encourage exploration in reading, construction, dramatic play, fine motor skills, and sensory activities, while routines, classroom roles, and enrichment build confidence. Learning Without Tears strengthens early writing and readiness through multi-sensory techniques. Children participate in enrichment classes like dance, music, language, and sports, and take on leadership roles that promote responsibility. Preschoolers wear uniforms and enjoy meals in the Kids’ Cafe, supporting independence. Families stay connected through real-time updates, photos, and progress reports. Through engaging academics and individualized support, we prepare children for kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.

Students build responsibility with KITE (Keeping It All Together Every Day) binders, introducing early homework concepts and strengthening home-school communication. A small licensed home day care. I am licensed for 8 but care for 5 or 6 children ages from infant to kindergarten. I've been doing child care in my home since 2002. I love to do activities/crafts/preschool with the children. We also do play based learning and plenty of outdoor play.
