The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided help as needed. They will also enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges as well as join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Summer Academy

Summer Academy is a month-long program that keeps students learning and engaged in academics during the summer. With focused instruction, enrichment activities, and personalized support, children strengthen core skills, explore new subjects, and build confidence in a fun, structured environment.

Summer Camp UCiC Summer Camp is a hands-on, adventure-filled program for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each week centers on engaging themes where students create, build, explore, and play through purposeful arts, crafts, games, and collaborative activities.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.
