Preschool-age children in the Explorers Classroom understand the idea of rules and they’re learning to play with their peers. Our Explorers Classroom curriculum help children delve into different topics through age-appropriate and engaging activities and helps build the foundation for Kindergarten readiness. Preschoolers in the Explorers Classroom will experience hands-on learning daily through a wide range of activities. The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided help as needed. They will also enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges as well as join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts. I cannot say more about how amazing this facility is. The entire team is caring, creative and a wonderful place for my son. I have never worked with a more inclusive, professional and caring set of individuals. Richelle Gilvin, as the director is always willing to work as a team to make sure my child is happy, healthy and successful at daycare. My son's teacher Nubia is so caring and attentive and I am grateful for her and all of the teachers at Kid's Country. A wonderful, safe, caring place is all I can say about this daycare and the team.
My daughter has been here for about 6 months now. The teachers that I have interacted with have been welcoming, friendly and positive energy. When I have questions and concern the director is open and always available. They value the input the of the families and take the feedback that is given to them. The changes have been great and I have seen the changes and improvements. Children are doing activities and projects. My child loves being there.
The staff and teachers have always been flexible and helpful. The children get a variety of things to do with a good, large play area. Miss Jojo and Miss Jerica keep things running efficiently and are definitely good with communication and assistance when needed. The teachers take an interest in the kids and are kind.
