The Kumon Reading Program starts your pre-readers off with fun “look, listen and repeat” worksheets. Colorful illustrations help connect words to familiar objects, to start putting words together. Your child will progress to identify nouns, verbs and adjectives, and use them within sentences.

For kids 6-12, practice really does make perfect. The Kumon math curriculum helps your child develop a firm foundation in arithmetic, fractions, decimals and more, while improving study skills. Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

Girls' Program

MEP supports girls grades 2-12 through free education, leadership development, and cultural enrichment. Girls’ programming includes one-to-one after-school tutoring in reading and math. MEP also offers a College and Career Readiness (CCR) program for 9th-12th graders and a variety of summer camps.

Innovation Lab STEM Camp

Using Project Scientist curriculum and materials, MEP will lead girls grades 3-6 in daily experiments. Camp includes one STEM career-based field trip.

Our STEAM-based summer camp combines fun and learning, using Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics to spark curiosity and critical thinking. With hands-on activities, exciting field trips, and special guest visits, campers engage in learning while building new skills and friendships. Whether exploring nature, working on creative projects, or collaborating on problem-solving tasks, your child will develop independence, gross motor skills, and a love for learning in a playful, dynamic environment. Similar to the regular school year, though we spend more time outside. We fill our courtyard with water features like kiddie pools, splash pads, water guns, we have bubble machines, chalk, music and games. We keep kids active and give them an unforgettable summer experience.

Before & After School

In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. Need an extra hand with your kindergarten child? We’re here. In the morning, we’re here for you to drop off your child at your convenience, and we provide transportation to their elementary school for their half-day kindergarten program. Then, we’ll pick them up and bring them back to spend the afternoon with us.
