Description provided by the business.Mercy Education Project (MEP) began in 1992 as a tutoring program founded by the Sisters of Mercy in Southwest Detroit to provide after-school tutoring for economically disadvantaged girls. Over the years, MEP has continually expanded its educational programming for girls in grades 2-12 including summer camps and college and career readiness for high schoolers. As well as providing GED preparation, adult basic education, and workforce development for low-income women. MEP is a 501c3 nonprofit and all services are free of charge for our students.
