Lightbridge Academy’s infant program is an ideal, developmentally appropriate environment for little ones as they learn to move, pull up, roll over, and eventually crawl. Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little one’s future growth and development. By creating strong bonds, learning through play and stimulating their five senses, even our youngest students are encouraged to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. Primary caregivers introduce a theme-based curriculum, which is enhanced with enrichment programs such as Singing Sprouts, Spanish Sprouts and Signing Sprouts.

Toddlers

Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them, developing faster than almost any other age group. They are all about speed — learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Twos

This classroom is the perfect environment for terrific 2-year-olds. As your child grows more active, becoming an explorer, we provide a safe, engaging environment for them to develop. Infants

Using a curriculum inspired by Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE), our teachers create a strong sense of security that fuels confidence and boosts self-esteem. Our Infant Program allows your little one to safely explore their surroundings and interact with peers and teachers. The focus on active play helps to encourage natural gross motor development. Our approach stimulates all aspects of development empowering children to grow with confidence and foster independence. This leads to authentic early development skills that create a solid foundation for learning.

Toddlers

Toddler Program inspired by Reggio Emilia curriculum that support your child’s growth in natural, innovative ways. Here, we celebrate initiative to think, learn, create, and do. Program highlights include: social and emotional development, early literacy and math concepts, and sensory and scientific discovery.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.
