Your preschooler is beginning to connect letters, sounds and numbers, expanding their world through reading and math. They’re building critical-thinking skills, early physical fitness and an understanding of nutrition. Our teachers support that learning and encourage your child to think in new and different ways.

Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Preschool Classroom

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. At The Goddard School®, we recognize that classrooms are made up of many unique children and teachers work to create engaging, innovative, play-based lessons with the interests and needs of every child in mind. Through the power of asking a question, your child will learn how to seek answers and advocate for themselves in the classroom. Early Preschool

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.

Preschool

FLA helps your three- and four-year-olds master age-appropriate activities, gain gross- and fine motor skills, and learn to socialize and follow rules. They will have opportunities for solo and group learning and exploring, continued practice of academic building blocks (early writing, reading, math), and will focus on emotional development, problem-solving, and school readiness. Prices are subject to change.

Pre-K

Children in the Pathfinders Classroom will be asked to complete more concrete tasks so they’re prepared for the next steps in their education. Our goal is to ensure your child has mastered all the necessary skills to enter Kindergarten by providing individualized planning, challenging your child, and considering their progress. Math, science, writing, and reading are emphasized. Small group activities strengthen social- and problem-solving skills. Key Kindergarten-required skills are practiced and perfected. Pre-School/Pre-K

Children are encouraged to think independently and express individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes math, science, language. Children begin to expand social skills and make friends. School readiness is taught to 4 yr olds.

Pre-Kindergarten

Our Pre-K is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. We put a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes reading, writing, math, science, movement, art, and music. We model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and make friends.
