Toddler Program

Infants

Explorers

The growth that happens during this stage is remarkable. Your child’s brain is developing rapidly, and each day brings new opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. This is why it’s important to choose more than basic child care. You want an environment that nurtures curiosity and supports healthy development. In our Explorers program, children begin building social-emotional skills through guided group interaction, learning how to engage with peers, build relationships, and work together. Intentional play is a core part of each day, blending creativity, movement, and learning in meaningful ways. Yellow Brick Road offers academic child care through the Creative Curriculum, providing research-driven activities that support early learning and development. Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Infant (Nido Community)

All of our schools and child care centers offer Infant Programs for children six weeks and older. Each classroom provides a nurturing, enriching environment designed to spark curiosity and support early exploration, with plenty of time for cuddles, reading, language development, and motor skill activities. Our Infant Community teachers are experienced, compassionate, and patient, and they take great joy in guiding children through their earliest milestones and discoveries.

Toddler Community

Sonnet Montessori’s Toddler Community provides a nurturing, developmentally rich environment where young children build independence and a lifelong love of learning.
