We put our 2 year old son in the Primrose program last year and we are so impressed with the how nice and on top of it the staff is. Our boy loves Ms. Ana and we appreciate the great communication from the Primrose team through the ProCare app!
Amazing place! Staff are super friendly and positive, you can tell the kiddos genuinely enjoy going there every day. We've enjoyed the events the other Primrose locations offer and can't wait to see what West Des Moines location will have coming up 😊
My child enjoys Primrose of WDM. He has been learning alot and absolutely enjoy his teachers. The curriculum and the care that the staff and leadership show to the children truly make me feel more at ease because I know that my child is getting good quality care here. I would recommend checking this school out.
We started our daughter as an infant and she is currently a toddler. She has been loved by all the teachers in all 3 rooms she has been in. A few of our favorite things: 1. As an infant they feed your child in a baby led weaning style, which is very messy, but very good for their development. Not only that, but as she moved to the young toddlers room, they helped her with learning how to use silverware. 2. As a toddler, it is evident our daughter has learned so much. She has learned her body parts, she has learned specific words through the books they read, specific action words. Not only that, but she has become so inquisitive, constantly asking “what is this?” And wanting to help with basic chores around the house. 3. The do artwork all the time, even as an infant. My daughter loves drawing at home because of the environment they fostered. 4. Our daughter loves books because of the environment they have created. She loves looking at books and having them read to her.
Primrose School of West Des Moines has been a wonderful experience for our family. My grandson attends the prekindergarten program, and he truly loves going to school each day. His teachers are kind, supportive, and genuinely invested in his growth and happiness. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and does an excellent job supporting his path toward kindergarten readiness, both academically and socially. We feel confident knowing he is in a nurturing, engaging environment where he is encouraged to learn and thrive. We are so grateful for the care and dedication of the entire Primrose team.

We love being a part of the Primrose family. I always feel like my child is loved and well cared for by all the staff. They have a strong daily curriculum and my child is learning a lot through exploration and play. I appreciate that I see at least one of the owners and directors every day. Every staff members knows our entire family, and we feel truly welcomed every day.
We tried out several childcare options and Primrose has been the best fit for our family! The staff truly cares about your child and the amount that they have learned since starting is truly remarkable.
