L’Academy’s bilingual Pre-K / TK program prepares children for kindergarten with a focus on early literacy, math, English readiness, and independence. Through structured lessons and leadership opportunities, children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and school readiness.

L’Academy Preschool nurtures whole-child development through play-based learning inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Children build confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking while developing Mandarin and/or Spanish bilingual skills and English readiness.

Pre-kindergarten & Kindergarten

Students need to be 4 years by the month of December to join the program. Classrooms are setup for 24 students with a 1:12 teacher to student ratio. Classrooms are equipped with the full range of Montessori activities. Along with Montessori lessons, students are introduced to an array of new topics every week. Students' complete theme based math and language worksheets on a daily basis. Teachers track the students' progress in the class and fill out an evaluation form for each child. Parent teacher conferences are conducted twice a year where the teacher gets to share each student's progress and development goals with the parent. This is a well rounded program that focuses on intellectual, cognitive, social and emotional growth of the child and prepare students for elementary education.

TK & Kindergarten Enrichment

The Catalyst Kids Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten program provides a supportive, enriching environment for children as they embark on their early school journey. Designed as a seamless extension of the school day, our curriculum fosters discovery, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and structured enrichment. Using Catalyst Kids Learning Through Literacy, we integrate English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies into engaging, literature-based experiences that build motivation, foundational skills, and core values. Children participate in STEM projects, creative expression activities, leadership opportunities, and structured physical development, all tailored to their interests and developmental needs.
