Parent Reviews
We're first time parents & were super hesitant to put our five-month-old in daycare, or in the care of anyone else for that matter. We looked at our centers & in-home cares but didn't seem to have that "click" or connection with any of them. We then decided to stop into KinderCare after being referred by a friend who took her baby to this center as well. First thing that we liked was that you either have to be buzzed in or have the code to even get into the door. That added security made us feel good. We were introduced to the center director, Julie, who was warm and welcoming from the very start and really understood all of our concerns and questions (trust me we had a lot). She was patient and took the time to go over everything in detail. The assistant director, Sue, also was able to help explain things about the center and show us around as well. Now as far as the infant area itself, it's required that everyone wears shoe covers before entering the room, which makes sense since infants are always on the floor. Again, just another thoughtful thing that they do that makes us feel like they care about the well being of our baby. The play area has lot of toys and fun, stimulating things they can play with. They do have curriculum and songs as well but limited since they are so small. Teachers and staff are great! They remember our baby's name and our baby also remembers them as well! They know his special favorite things, and the do's and don’ts of each child. Each baby is on his or her own eat and sleeping schedule and they get their own crib and cubby with pictures on them :) Each day they provide a "my day" log to show all the things baby did that day down to the minute! I could go on and on but overall great place that really seems to care about the health and development of each child!
I love KinderCare! We recently moved to the area and had no idea where to take our preschooler. After asking around, we took a tour of the KinderCare on Bruceville road. We were in the building for less than 5 minutes, and I was ready to sign up. Each person I met was warm, welcoming and really took an interest in my daughter. They took the time to make a connection with her. When we were ready to go, she started crying because she wanted to stay! Since our first day, we have never had a bad experience. Every day she comes home exhausted from all of the fun activities she did all day long. We are lucky to have found KinderCare!
