The hallmark of the Kids Country’s Infant program is our assurance to the parents who leave their precious little ones with us every day, do so with the complete confidence that their children are loved, nurtured, and gently cared for all day. While feeding, diapering, and reading to your baby, our experienced teachers understand the importance of eye contact, soothing tones, and gentle touches to stimulate the young brain. Your child will spend their day in an environment that is safe, warm and feels just like home. You will only bring in bottles and diapers and leave us a schedule to follow each day. Your Baby will nap in their own crib, on their own schedule and follow their own unique curriculum plan.

Toddlers

Dynamic, Adventurous, Independent & Daring! What words better describe a toddler? Toddlers are a unique blend of sweet little baby at one moment and learning-hungry preschooler at the very same time. Kids Country unites the two sides with a pedagogical approach designed to excite even the ficklest of learners. Hands-on activities combined with a literacy-rich environment will light the spark of learning for your toddler while loving teachers provide caring, cuddling and safety as the toddlers discover, analyze, and learn.

Pre-K

Pre-kindergarten is the year of preparation before kindergarten. Our goal is to ensure that every child who completes our pre-kindergarten program is greatly prepared for kindergarten, and this will translate into a life-long love of learning and education. The pre-kindergarten program extends all of the concepts introduced in our pre-school program to a higher level. A sampling of our goals for our pre-kindergarten children is recognition of at least 50 sight words; knowledge of letter sounds; rhyming and word patterning; counting to 100 by ones, fives and tens; addition and subtraction through toys; awareness of the world around them and social difference; the knowledge of the scientific process; and the ability to attempt to solve problems without teacher aid. The children continue with computers and Spanish, in addition to participating in an instrumental music program. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Toddlers

The toddler program is designed to meet the developmental needs of children from ages 18 months to approximately 36 months. Each toddler classroom is especially designed to provide a beautiful, nurturing environment; the furniture is child-sized and the classroom materials are meticulously maintained and carefully chosen to meet the developmental needs of children at this age. The daily schedule is intentionally unobtrusive and provides plenty of opportunities for learning, cuddling, napping or socializing indoors and outdoors. The emphasis during the toddler years is on building self confidence and fostering the natural curiosity that toddlers possess. Songs, stories, simple materials, a gentle place and a deep respect for each child ensures that your toddler will truly love his or her school environment and from that, develop a deep long-lasting love for learning. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Private Kindergarten

Kids Country Private Kindergarten provides just that foundation. Using Beginning to Read, Write and Listen, Harcourt Math, Let’s Find Out, Starfall, Zoophonics, and additional classroom enrichments, our Kindergartners score at first-, second- and third-grade levels on the Stanford Achievement Test. Field trips are scheduled to enhance the classroom lessons and classroom visitors are invited to bring the outside world into our classroom. Enrichment activities such as tennis lessons, karate lessons, swimming lessons and others are incorporated in the daily plan for our children to help build well rounded adults.

Summer Camp

Our educators begin each theme with strategic questions tailored to children's interests, such as, “I wonder what I will learn?”As the journey progresses, children engage with questions like “How can I become an inventor?”, “How can I save the planet?”, or “What will the future look like?” Their responses and observations shape the introduction of new materials and the creation of activities that delve deeper into each topic. Before and After School Care

School-age children need a place to go after school to release, relax, refuel, and reflect on their day. The KC Country Club gives your school-ager just that place. A safe environment that includes healthy and fun snacks, games, the staffed Homework Room, outside playtime, quiet spots for reading and journaling, art, and music. What kid wouldn’t want to be at the KC Country Club? Before-school care is relaxed and encouraging. Children come in, choose their favorite foods from the breakfast buffet, and have the chance to ease into the day. Transportation to local schools is provided.

Pelicans: Our School Age program provides children with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and fun challenges to support them in becoming their best selves. Our program consists of a mix of guided activities planned by the children and teacher-guided activities. We Offer Before & After-School Care for Brecksville Broadview Heights Elementary School.

Pre-K Masters

Our Pre-K Masters program is thoughtfully designed for children who need a third year of preschool, whether due to a late birthday, developmental readiness, or simply the need for an extra year to grow before starting kindergarten. This Pre-K bridge program provides the perfect balance of academic skill-building and social-emotional development to ensure your child enters elementary school confident, capable, and excited to learn. Building on the foundation of our Robins program, Pre-K Masters is a discovery-based program designed to nurture the whole child and build a strong foundation for learning. Aligned with nationally recognized kindergarten readiness expectations, state early learning standards, and NAEYC best practices for teaching in early childhood, Pre-K Masters blends academic skill-based workshops with hands-on exploration to foster independence, problem-solving, and cognitive growth in young children. Our comprehensive curriculum will use a mix of requirements from the Department of Education alongside our Nest Play curriculum to prepare children for first grade and beyond.

Infants

Hummingbirds: We understand that infants need nurturing, and parents need to feel secure knowing their child is in good hands. Our infant teachers are hand-picked natural caregivers who focus on meeting the individual needs of every child. While your child is in our care, you can rest assured that they will receive the attention and interaction they need and deserve. Recognizing that structure is essential to both infants and parents, our teachers will work with you to create a schedule, so your infant’s time away from home is as close to home as possible. Our hummingbird curriculum also includes our Global Gull American Sign Language Program. Most young children begin to talk around 12 months old, while some infants even try to communicate with their parents and caregivers even earlier! One way of helping our young children express their feelings, wants, and needs without crying and frustration of a lack of understanding from adults is through simple sign language, commonly known as ‘Baby Core Signs.’ These core signs include words like milk, sleep, play, all done, more, mother, father, etc.
