Parent Reviews
I have been very impressed by the field trips scheduled for the school age students. Hannah has enjoyed them very much and several times she has come home quoting what she learned, like at Stan Hewitt Hall and Gardens as well as Castle Noel. I appreciate you selecting interesting trips that appeal to boys and girls of all ages. She also enjoyed the cooking days and the hip hop classes in addition to the great teachers. I would highly recommend your facility to anyone seeking a summer program for school age children. We plan for Hannah to attend again next summer. Thank you again for making this a fun and interesting summer!
As a family with two children enrolled in Kindercare Route 18 Medina, we have had such an amazing experience. Growing up, neither of us were aware of daycare and had reservations on enrolling our children. Since starting our daughter at 12 weeks of age, the “family” at Kindercare has provided our children and us as parents with exceptional comfort and reassurance when our children are there. The attention each child receives is individualized to their specific needs. The teachers recognize when they may need a little extra attention on any certain day and ensures they have more one on one attention that day. The entire staff has been awesome in communicating with us on a daily basis regarding our children through notes and phone calls. We love the scheduled parent teacher conferences to ensure our children are developing along the guidelines for their age group and seeing their portfolios to see how they have progressed. We really appreciate the staff and feel as if they have become part of our family. Both of our children’s skills in regards to development, socially, emotionally and physically have excelled with the extra time the staff spends with each of them. Hands down, there is no other option to consider when selecting an exceptional place for your child to be comfortable, loved and gain a well-rounded education and learning experience.
Our daughter, Samantha, completed Kindergarten at KinderCare during the 2013-14 school year and had Ms. Gaspar as her teacher. We loved that the class size was so small (6 children total) and that they had great technology resources to keep the kids engaged. It seems like every week Ms. Gaspar was doing a fun experiment in science or the kids were doing yoga and learning about managing stress. I also loved the sight word wall where as the kids learned a new word, it got added to the wall. By the end of the year, the wall was full and Samantha was a great reader! Samantha also loved Ms. Gaspar! She is a very caring, creative, fun teacher who just created the most peaceful environment for all the kids to learn and grow. Now Samantha is in 1st Grade at Granger and I feel has a head start over many of the kids in her class. She’s reading Chapter books for fun (and has to read to herself each night to fall asleep!) and enjoys math and science. During our first parent teacher conference, her teacher told us how well prepared Samantha was for 1st grade and she continues to do great! Thank you KinderCare and Ms. Gaspar!
