Your baby’s brain is developing at an amazing rate, so our infant nursery is all about brain development. In our infant program, we teach tummy time for social bonding and physical development and baby sign language to help your child communicate their needs. Each year during summer months, our Passport to Adventure Club transforms into a high-energy, fun-filled, full-day summer camp! Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

Fours

Young children are permeable learners, meaning they have the capability to learn many concepts at once. At four years old, our students in the preschool learning program, led by experienced preschool teachers, are getting ready to incorporate all that they are learning at the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional levels in order to make that important transition to kindergarten. Twos

At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Kindergarten

Lightbridge Academy understands your desire to have your child well-prepared for first grade. Our strong academic program, coupled with nurturing care, is a successful combination for your kindergartner. Entering first grade, your Lightbridge Academy graduate will have a considerable advantage over other students. Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. Back-Up Care

Drop-In Care

With our Flex Care program, you can purchase child care days in advance to use, as you need them—all year long. You get reliability and flexibility, and your child gets to experience our proven curriculum in a fun, safe, and secure environment. You can purchase prepaid cards in five-day increments through your school, and each is good for one full year. After completing the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Kindergarten

Our teachers use engaging programs and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, creative and character development so your child is prepared to take on elementary school and beyond.

School-Age Childcare Program
