Extended Classtime

During Extended Classtime, students enjoy games, art and craft activities, music, reading and various enrichment classes. The afternoon session also includes a brief recess, the opportunity to complete homework, and a time to eat a snack.

Infants

In our Infant program, our teachers are always interacting with the children to encourage their mental and physical development, in addition to holding and cuddling them. Your child will be introduced to our baby sign language program, learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire a variety of other skills. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the infants’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.

Beginners

The Beginner program, for children ages 2-3, introduces more routine and structure to the children’s activities and schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn foundational mathematical skills, and will be encouraged to use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences. The concepts of social studies, diversity, and Spanish are introduced as our Beginners examine and explore the world around them.

Drop-In Care

We all have our own unique schedules and demands on our time. At The Children’s Courtyard, we recognize that scheduling needs may vary by family—or even by the day. That’s why we offer Drop-In Care: Purchase child care days ahead of time, then use them as needed. Prepaid Flex Care cards are sold in five-day increments and are good for a full year. Once you’ve completed your enrollment paperwork, we just need 48 hours’ notice to reserve a spot for your child.

Plus, our exclusive, milestone-focused curriculum, Learn from the Start™, was developed by our educational experts to focus on key developmental milestones specific to infants. We emphasize each child’s development, rather than specific age, because all children grow and learn at their own pace, and in their own unique way. We’re also here when you need us.
