Child must turn four years old on or before August 31 of the program year. Prepare your child for kindergarten – at no cost to you! Want to ensure your child is ready for Kindergarten? Enroll in Meck Pre-K, a Mecklenburg County-funded program providing FREE Pre-K to local families. In our program, your child will acquire skills in creative arts, scientific thinking, social studies, technology, and in social/emotional areas. Our licensed teachers will prepare your child for success in Kindergarten and beyond! Limited spots available! Enrollment is first-come, first-served.
