Parent Reviews
We have had a wonderful experience at this little school. Small class sizes, individual student workplans, lovely guides, and an unparalleled outdoor learning environment. We have not had a bad experience with a single guide in the last 5 years I have had a child attending this school. They are tenured, well-educated, and thoughtful. This school develops strong character in its students, like integrity, compassion and respect. The Guides are definitely leading by example here. They seem to have a never-ending amount of patience, empathy, grace, and respect for their students. And most of students we have encountered mirror that behavior. This school effectively supports students with learning differences. Montessori by nature is great for learning differences. Students learn at their own pace, and have the opportunity to work at whatever level they are ready for, no matter what the rest of the classroom is doing. This school has an effective approach to homework. My oldest child in in 1st grade, and we are so happy he is not brining home homework. He does his work at school, brings home a new book to read at home every week, and genuinely enjoys learning during school hours.
