At Legacy, we believe summer should be as enriching as it is fun. That’s why at Legacy Summer, students explore, play and grow all summer long. Our hands-on, engaging activities allow for extended school year learning in a fun, activity-based environment. Students will also receive a Legacy Summer lunch bag and water bottle. Space is limited.

Elementary School

Grade 1—5

Legacy Traditional School’s elementary curriculum provides a well-rounded education emphasizing key academic and developmental areas. The language arts program follows the Spalding Method with The Writing Road to Reading, integrating listening, speaking, spelling, writing, and reading to foster skilled readers, writers, and critical communicators. Core components include composition, oral communication, literature, spelling, and vocabulary. In science, students explore concepts through investigations, lab equipment, readings, and interactive technology, promoting logical thinking. Math is taught with enVision Math, which builds deep understanding through progressive lessons and real-world applications, aligned with state standards and accessible from home via Schoology integration.
