Description provided by the business.We built Brightworks because we kept noticing the same thing: children arrive at five passionate about learning, full of questions, alive to the world — and somewhere along the way, school dims them. We started a different kind of school to find out what would happen if we didn't. Brightworks is located amongst the trees in The Presidio National Park — our playground is an adjacent redwood grove, our science lab includes water samples collected by students from the Bay, and we collaborate with a variety of organizations on The Presidio and in the city to bring learning to life.
