Parent Reviews
In the relatively short time Bryan has been involved in these programs, I have seen such a positive change in him. He is excited to show me the letters he can write and we have enjoyed looking out for patterns when we are out and about. The constant communication Ms. Shaunesse gives me after each lesson has been very helpful. I am able to use the notes she sends home to continue what Bryan learned during the day to enforce what he learned from Ms. Shaunesse.I feel very confident that these programs have given Bryan a strong education base as we get closer to going into kindergarten. I highly recommend not only these programs but Ms. Shaunesse leading the kids as well in these activities.
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for doing such a great job. After the conference with Mary last week, I have to say that I am very appreciative of all of you. Sometimes I think parents take for granted all that is done at the school. The parties last week took much time and planning on everyone's part and I will assume many extra hours were put in. The sacrifices made for all the kids is appreciated.I appreciate everyone's patience with Joshua and Kira. You have all been very helpful, just like a family. I like to think of KB as Joshua and Kira's extended family. Mary is leaving a very positive impression on the twins. At home, they often tell me that "Ms. Mary said... Ms. Mary says..."Please continue the great work and thank you very much.
My son and daughter both attend Knowledge Beginnings in Stapleton and I can't say enough about how much they've grown over the last 1.5 years. My 4 year old son is already reading at a kindergarten level (if not higher). He is doing great learning math and is very excited to tell me every day on the way home what he learned for the day. I am very satisfied with his preparedness for Elementary school and I am extremely pleased with how much he is learning. I have to give special acknowledgment to Ms. Vickie for all the work she has done in the 2 year old class room. My daughter has grown so much in the last few months of being in that class. She is counting to 10 (sometimes higher), she is already recognizing words and letters, she comes home singing all kinds of new songs, the amount of art and creative projects she does is amazing. She absolutely loves her friends and teachers in that class. We have about a 20-30 min ride home so I get to hear all about what her and her friends did each day. I think the most exciting thing for me in addition to what I've mentioned above is how quickly Ms. Vickie was able to get her potty trained. Once I told her what I was doing at home she emulated the same at school and my daughter was trained in no time... at only 2! I pulled my children from KB for a brief period and moved them to a different daycare here in Denver and the either cried each time or they had just the saddest look on there face when dropping them off which broken my heart. The quality of education and care they were getting at this new place was completely inferior to what they had become accustomed to at KB. It was a no brainer that I had to move them back and luckily for me they had space. My son literally did a happy dance when I told him he was going back! No I have to wear my running shoes to keep up with them when dropping them off. They are excited each day to come to school. You've probably noticed I keep referring to KB as a school and not a daycare. To me a daycare is a place where kids go and play all day and you have half hearted staff there just making sure they don't hurt themselves. KB is much more than a daycare it is truly a learning environment form infant to 5 year old. I believe my son will be at an advanced kindergarten level, if not even grade level above by the time he starts school. When it comes time for my daughter to go to Elementary I have no doubts she will be just as prepared. As a parent I could not be more proud! I would like to give thanks to KB and all of the staff for everything they've done for both of my children. Since they spend more time with my children than I get to each day, I'm happy to know it's with this great group of people. Forever Grateful!!
