Three of my four children attended Challenger's Almaden campus, beginning at age 3, and we absolutely love the school. The teachers are all amazing, the headmistress of preschool & Kindergarten, Ms. Geeta, is the most amazing person, and the curriculum was great! Yes, it is 'academic' in that the children learn a lot and mine were all reading at or before 4 years old, but they did it all in ways that the kids enjoyed -- they always felt like they were playing. The environment was supportive, structured, and encouraging, and the full day care was incredible too -- lots of activities, fun, and learning. Highly, highly recommend!
My son attended Challenger for PreK and K and he absolutely loved going to school everyday. He has learned so much there compared to my daughter who was in public school for K. The teachers are wonderful and they do amazing job of teaching these young kids so much in just 1 year. They not only focus on academics but also have fascinating art projects done in class.
Fantastic school. Amazing curriculum after one year has my 4 and 6 year old kids are years ahead of their peers at other schools.
