Parent Reviews
After looking around at many schools for my 4 year daughter, I found myself at KinderCare in the City of Industry. It was my daughters first time going to a school and I was very nervous. The staff at KinderCare helped me feel so much more at ease. When I was worried about my daughter while I was working, I would get an email with pictures of her to help me feel comfortable. It meant a lot to me to have the staff not only care for my daughter, but for my feelings as well. It’s hard leaving your child at school for the first time. It did not take long for my daughter to start recognizing her letters and numbers after she had started school. This amazed me that she could learn so quickly. Mr. Gilbert, her teacher, spent so much quality time with her. I have never in my life met a teacher who was so passionate about the education of the children in his care. Every time I would walk into the classroom the children were so enriched in the activities that were going on. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful whenever I had a concern. I would highly recommend KinderCare to other families, especially Mr. Gilbert!
I just wanted to take a few moments and say how grateful my husband and I are to the staff at KinderCare for helping our daughter transition to school as smoothly as possible, considering this was the first time she was being separated from us! I am the mother of a 2 year old girl. As I mentioned before my daughter has never been seprated from me until we started KinderCare. My husband and I decide that we would try sending her to school so she could socialize with other children. I had no idea what was going to happen and especially as a first time mom I was very nervous. When we entered the school, we were greeted by everyone that walked by us and everyone seemed very friendly. That made me feel a bit more at ease. My daughter however, was still hiding behind my leg and did not want to speak with anyone! The very first day we started her she immediately started crying and grabbing my leg. You can imagine how heartbreaking it was for me to see her like that. I was about to give up on the whole thought of taking her to school when I was approached by the center director. She was patiently explaining to me how this is a very normal behavior from children especially the ones that has never been separated from mom. She gave us the opportunity that week to go to the school for a few hours everyday and asked me to stay with her! I still was not convinced but I agreed to give it a try! It was a very interesting week for us because not only did my daughter get a chance to slowly trust the teachers and the other students in the class, it also gave me an amazing opportunity to see what they do everyday and how amazing their curriculum and interaction was with every child. Long story short, my daughter is going to school every single day now and everytime I go to pick her up she asks me to stay a little bit longer! She has came a long way and learned so much! It is amazing to see how fast she is developing and how much she is learning everyday! So thank you so much to all the wonderful staff who made such a difference in our lives!!!
