We love having our daughter enrolled at DSM. She started at 18 months and we noticed her language skills just take off. The team was sooo helpful with potty training too. She is now 3 and in the primary class. Paty is constantly looking for ways to engage the kids with new curriculum like computer science , gardening , music , etc… We love the special visits from the science center (and recently the herpetological society - picture attached!), Thanksgiving drum circle, and international day celebration. Our daughter comes home proud of the independence she is learning - she dresses herself, likes to practice with zippers, can pour herself a glass of milk, and is now very excited to show me how she can do “computer science“ with a mouse. We instantly felt a family-vibe when we did our initial tour and that feeling has continued over the last year and half we have been there.

I read the below review and seems that was with previous owner. Now the school is bought by Miss Paty. She is great. We definitely a five star experience for us. This is one of the best things happened to my son. We moved from children's learning adventure which was okay until he was 2.5 and was not satisfactory after that. However this school is a hidden gem in Scottsdale, I learnt about DSM little late and I started caring less for a fancy place. This school has great teachers Miss Patty, Miss Lupita, Miss Sally, Miss C they are amazing with kids very passionate and professional. Being a 4 year old my son is great in third grade reading, he is into math ( knows multiplication already) I don't recall me doing multiplication at that young age. Now he is doing show and tell with his teachers and friends. Talks about butterflies and Ladybugs life cycle, continents, solar system etc. He is continuously learning, and I like that about this school. Now I am not worried he has those stronger basics rooted by this school. In addition I like that he gets the one on one attention, chooses his work wisely, likewise has good play time both outdoor and indoor after his work is done. Along with this my son and myself we made great friends and have a good community here. Mother days breakfast, father day gifts, Thanksgiving feast I look forward for these events. They have swimming in summer, science days by the museum, pumpkin patch etc. are few awesome activities to consider Definitely five star for us.
