Parent Reviews
Everyone at Guidepost Central West End is caring, communicative, and focused on the well being of my child. My kiddo is currently in the Nido and all of the guides work so well together to create a nurturing community for these rapidly developing little ones. His main guide Ms. Kyah always makes time at pickup to chat with me about how his day went, what development she’s seeing, and to offer feedback and insights. The administration is also wonderful- Becky and Karen are extremely involved, know all the children by name and are always visible- providing support to the guides, or just stopping to chat with parents. I’m extremely happy with our experience so far!
Our daughter has been in the Nido classroom for about 4 months and we have been very impressed by Guidepost. The staff in her room are excellent communicators and take amazing care of her; she loves coming to daycare each morning. We have also been consistently impressed by the school leadership and their commitment to Montessori education. We recommend this daycare to everyone!
We had two children go through Guidepost and LOVED our experience with our older child. However, towards the end of her time there, the turnover was horrible, which resulted in untrained individuals and a couple of concerning incidents. But then they got a new administrative team and seemed to have an overhaul, so we ended up sending our younger child there. We had them enrolled for a short period of time before pulling them because of concerning ratios. There were several times where the ratio was 6 (or more) infants to 1 adult and we would hang out until another adult was able to come into the room -- which resulted in us being late to work. On the final day there were 8 infants and 1 adult in the room -- we left and never went back.
As first-time parents, we were anxious about finding the best daycare for our newborn. We are so grateful that we were able to get off the waitlist to join this school because our son has truly flourished under their guidance and supervision. Becky and Karen are excellent leaders, very transparent, and genuinely dedicated to the success of their staff and all the children under their care. Our teachers/guides are absolutely INCREDIBLE (Miss Destiny, Talya, Ary) and we appreciate their compassion and how much they genuinely love the children, are excited to watch them grow and develop personalities, and find joy in their daily work. I could not recommend this daycare more highly!
