John Thomas Dye is an independent elementary day school in Los Angeles, founded in 1929, serving grades K–6. The academic program includes fine arts, competitive athletics, and an integrated STEM strand called inSTED, which combines science, technology, engineering, and design through tools such as 3D printers and robotics kits. Math instruction is guided by Singapore Math (Math in Focus), and character education is woven throughout the curriculum via a framework of five core values. After-school care and an enrichment program with classes in coding, world languages, chess, and other subjects are available on campus for all grade levels.
