Oak Ridge Military Academy, NC's official State Military Academy, the nation's oldest continuously operating secondary school military academy! Since 1852, this historic co-educational institution (grades 7-12) molds leaders through a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum and structured military environment. We were the first military academy to admit girls (1971). With a low student-to-teacher ratio (9:1), we offer an immersive experience. Fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 98% of our graduates attend a 4-year college (Niche).
