Parent Reviews
I couldn't be more blessed to have such a wonderful team of caregivers with my children, who enjoy the time they spend at the West A KinderCare. I hear about new activities, topics, and projects that the kids have done on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. I know they enjoy their teachers when my little guy shows them his smile in the mornings and is ready to give them hugs. My daughter is usually deep into a project when I come to pick her up at the end of the day, and then wants to stay and finish it. Thanks to everyone at the West A KinderCare for keeping me well informed of my children's learning, health, and well-being. You make it easier for me, knowing that my kids are at a place I trust and can feel comfortable.
I enrolled my children at the KinderCare on West A Street in May of 2012. I chose KinderCare because of the classroom setting (what a fantastic way to get children ready for school!) and the secured entry system. After meeting with the Center Director and the teachers, I knew I had made a good choice. My daughters were two and four at the time they started attending. They are now four and five and they look forward to going to, as they call it, "school" every day. We love the center. It's a warm and welcoming feel when you walk in. The kitchen is always cooking up something yummy that smells delicious. My five-year-old started kindergarten this year and thanks to the hard work her teachers put in with her, she is ahead of where she needs to be for reading! My four-year-old knows all her colors and numbers (one through ten) in Spanish! I'm so very pleased with all of the teachers at this center. They go above and beyond. They know all the children by first name and take the time to stop and say "hi" to every child who walks through the door. They have great lines of communication with the parents and work hard to keep the classrooms calm, clean, fun, and safe. They prepare fun projects and have great ways to involve all the children in everything.
My child has been enrolled in KinderCare on West A since August of 2012. We absolutely love KinderCare, all of the teachers are very friendly and so welcoming. She has learned her letters, how to spell her name, her colors, counting, and much more. Every morning she loves to get up and get ready to go to "school"--she can't wait to see her teachers and her friends. I love all the fun activities that they have at their center, like the Color Run, Family Fun Night, Book Fair, and Winter Gala, to name a few. I feel like this center is doing a great job with my daughter and I am so happy with the care she is receiving here.
