Simply put: Yandan is absolutely amazing. If she has an opening, I highly recommend taking the opportunity to have her in your child's life! I cannot express my appreciation for her love and care enough. She will always have a special place in my family's hearts. Yandan's care hit all the goals we had for daycare: a clean, safe, and healthy environment. Care for your little one that is attentive, helps build routine, and promote both socialization and individual growth. And an enriching learning environment to foster both physical and mental development. Our daughter was in her care from age 5 months to a little over 2 years. Yandan gave us peace of mind from the very first day, and our trust in her only grew from there. Our daughter went from being the youngest to the oldest during her time there, and she was kept engaged and learning new things every step of the way. She benefited so much from learning from the older kids early on, and later transitioned beautifully into the older kid role - learning how to be gentle and care for the younger ones. Before starting daycare, other parents told me that at a young age kids simply play alongside one another. However, Yandan fostered such an inviting, warm environment that the children truly became friends. Highlights of Yandan's care include daily playground trips (weather permitting), balanced home-cooked meals, creative artwork projects, and a rotating selection of toys and music. Our family doesn't speak any Chinese, but found the additional language exposure to be an extra benefit for our child. And for the parents she sets up a group text for open communication, sends daily photos, and keeps a log to track sleep/food/bottles/diapers so you can always feel connected. It was an incredibly hard emotional decision for us to leave Yandan’s. We only moved on because our daughter had built such a strong foundation that she was fully ready to graduate to a larger preschool environment. We feel incredibly lucky that Yandan influenced our daughter's early years and was a part of so many important milestones. Our daughter has grown into a confident, curious, and extremely happy kid, and we have Yandan to thank for that.

Our daughter was in Yandan's care from 6 months to almost 2 1/2 years, and she is truly one of our daughter's favorite people. As a nervous first time mom, Yandan provided a gentle and safe environment for my infant, and had our daughter taking a bottle no problem, which had been a previous challenge. Yandan provided a nurturing and explorative environment for our daughter to continue to grow and learn into toddlerhood. She went from being the youngest of the groups to the oldest child with a new group, and the transition was seamless. Yandan kept her stimulated and learning at each stage with daily park outings, art projects and other activities. Yandan has a great way of helping the kids interact and build connections, there were always lots of smiles and hugs at pickup. Yandan is a great communicator, she sends daily photos and has a tracker sheet with sleep, diaper changes and meals/snacks that she shares at the ends of each day. She cooks fabulous and balanced lunches with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. It was so hard to say goodbye, we will miss her dearly and cannot recommend her enough.

Our son joined YanDan's at 15 months and he absolutely loved it. He made great friends, learned so much from her, and had the most delicious lunches. We felt so safe having him there, YanDan always communicated with us and sent pictures daily and Henri was always laughing and having a great time. It was the perfect balance between having him in a social setting but not ready to send him to a massive day care. Everyday YanDan took them to the park and curated activities for them. We will miss her so much!

YanDan is the best! Our son has been there since 8 months and he loves YanDan! He always has a full day—she cooks delicious meals for him, he is on a great nap schedule, and he loves his little friends there. Yan is meticulous about sharing a detailed daily log of what he eats, how much he drinks, diaper changes, naps, etc. we also get a bunch of pictures throughout the day and makes sure the kiddos get good outdoor time everyday. Our son loves it there and Yan has been integral in our child’s development and growth and all of his transitions. We love her and are so lucky to have her, she speaks Mandarin with our baby but her English is also perfect.

YanDan's Family Day Care holds a special place in our hearts. From the moment our daughter walked through that door at 5 months, the care, attention, and love she received at Yandan's daycare were exceptional. With Yandan we found more than just a safe place for our daughter – we discovered a nurturing and enriching environment that truly felt like an extension of our family. Yandan forms an excellent bond with children and encourages their individual curiosity and development. Our daughter flourished with Yandan. The warm and loving care she received every day made it feel like a home away from home. Moreover, the open communication, regular updates, and photos kept us connected to our daughter’s daily experiences and needs, and we were able to construct a good routine for her together. Yandan is highly flexible and communicative. She understands the different needs and habits of the little ones, assisting them in transitioning from home to daycare and facilitating their growth through fun experiences. We highly recommend Yandan’s family daycare!

Yandan took great care of my six month old daughter while my daughter was at this wonderful daycare. The children's area is very clean, safe, and full of natural light since it is in a brand new building. Yandan made sure that my daughter got the best naps, feedings/bottles, and diaper changes which she logs to the minute on a daily tracking sheet and sends a photo to you of it at the end of the day during pickup. Also, Yandan fed my daughter solids depending on what she had available such as carrots (steamed), avocado, banana, kiwi, etc., or if I brought food from home. My daughter had so much fun learning and exploring with Yandan and the two other children who were slightly older but similar in age. They played with all the different toys, had story and song time, and went right across the street to Jackson Playground everyday to ride the swing. Yandan would send cute photo and video updates via text throughout the day. It was great that Yandan could speak Chinese to my daughter but also communicates well with me in English.
