Pre-Kindergarten

The Stratford pre-kindergarten curriculum teaches students to ask questions and think critically. Pre-K students begin their day with imaginative STEAM play, designed to develop their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. They enjoy Spanish class several times a week, and progress at a faster rate than other pre-K students because of Stratford’s focus on English language fundamentals. You’ll find that your child’s teachers care deeply about each student and about their families. The relationships and friendships your child develops here will shape their future success. Preschool

Our teachers provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolers’ natural curiosity, and instills confidence in their innate abilities. By balancing traditional instruction in reading, writing, and math with art, music, and foreign language, the Stratford preschool curriculum teaches 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, and problem solving. The open, caring, family-oriented atmosphere at Stratford School helps preschoolers feel safe – physically and emotionally – and nurtures the whole child, both mind and heart. Toddler Program

Our toddler program offers a warm, nurturing space where children build early independence, language, and motor skills through hands-on Montessori activities, music, movement, and guided social interactions.

Preschool Program

Our preschool program supports each child’s growth through individualized Montessori lessons that spark curiosity, build social-emotional confidence, and prepare them academically for kindergarten and beyond.

Transitional Kindergarten

Our Transitional Kindergarten program is designed for children who are not quite ready for our Kindergarten program and their birthday falls between September 2 and February 2. It provides an exceptional opportunity for children to learn all of the Kindergarten essentials at a pace that helps build confidence and skills and sets them up for success in Kindergarten and beyond.

Early Preschool

Between the ages of two and three brain power increases at an astonishing rate. Maximizing on this formative year, our Early Preschool teachers create a joyful and nurturing learning environment in which budding academic and social-emotional skills flourish. Early preschoolers grow in their independence, language, and thinking skills through a predictable and supportive daily routine which includes preparing them for the next chapter — Preschool! Twos

This classroom is the perfect environment for terrific 2-year-olds. As your child grows more active, becoming an explorer, we provide a safe, engaging environment for them to develop. Learning experiences for 2-year-olds are based around key developmental milestones for this age group, as defined by our exclusive Learn from the Start™curriculum. We’re also here when you need us. Ask your school about flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule.

Drop-In Care

With our Flex Care program, you can purchase child care days in advance to use, as you need them—all year long. You get reliability and flexibility, and your child gets to experience our proven curriculum in a fun, safe, and secure environment. You can purchase prepaid cards in five-day increments through your school, and each is good for one full year. After completing the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Infant Daycare

Infant program offering a physically and emotionally safe place for your baby to explore and learn about the world around them. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence. Photos of the children’s families cover the walls of the classroom, creating a sense of community. Daily routine includes: outdoor play, circle time, dance & movement, reading, art, music, and free play.

Our Toddler Montessori Program is a fun, loving, and respectful place for our youngest students to become independent and self-confident individuals. Our scaffolding approach is a critical component in teaching new tasks with multiple steps where our teachers provide support for students. Our children that are now engaging in short sentence conversions are able to absorb information within our curriculum that is designed to support creative expression, literacy and music by fostering their curious minds. By introducing skills that enable independence through enriching art projects and hands-on activities, we are ensuring they are able to expand concepts that were developed in Little Explorers.

We use a scaffolded approach to learning through systematically building on students’ experiences and knowledge as they are acquiring new skills in order to enhance learning and aid in the mastery of tasks. Their curious minds are exposed to an enriched curriculum focusing on language development by using pictures, books and basic academics in their environment. Following simple instructions is implemented through circle time, story time, art, and curriculum projects. Besides the social, emotional development, we also focus on developing fine motor skills through fun and sensory activities. Our Little Explorers are ready to put to practice their newfound independence by exploring their surroundings as they come with a Brighter understanding of their world around them.
