Gingerbread House at the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton has served generations of local families with high quality pre-school and the positive youth development values central to the Boys & Girls Club mission. We offer both private pay and CELA funded classrooms.

Pre-K 3

The Pre-K 3 program offers play-based learning with a focus on school readiness, social-emotional growth, and bilingual instruction in English and Spanish. The classroom includes early literacy and math development, art, music, movement, sensory exploration, daily yoga and meditation, and support for children's emotional, social, physical, and academic development.

Nursery School

The Nursery School program uses a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum with an emergent approach where children's interests guide their studies. Classroom centers in dramatic play, blocks, writing, art, reading, maker space, science, and movement are facilitated by teachers while children take ownership of their learning.

Hands-on experiences—like observing life cycles—bring learning to life. The BP Read with Me program supports early literacy in small groups, while American Sign Language enhances communication. The curriculum aligns with early learning standards, with parent-teacher conferences held three times yearly.
