Child Care Program

Our preschool program provides a nurturing, engaging environment where young children learn through age-appropriate academics, hands-on activities, and exploration. Children build early literacy, social-emotional, and communication skills while developing confidence and a love of learning.

Transitional Kindergarten Program

Our Transitional Kindergarten program bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten with a curriculum designed specifically for this important stage of development. Children strengthen early reading, math, social, and problem-solving skills while building independence and school-readiness.

Infant "Bambino" Room

Our infant program builds independence from the start. Through safe, age-appropriate toys, engaging activities, and daily routines, babies reach key milestones while learning to wash hands with help, clean up, and choose play materials. A nurturing foundation to thrive and grow.

Toddler "Safari Cubs" Room

The Safari Cub Toddler Care curriculum at Safari Kid of Hayward East is designed for children starting at 18 months, offering play-based learning and educational materials to promote physical and cognitive development.

Sunshine

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Eating and Potty Training

We change the diapers and use the bottle to feed infants. They will sit with other children during the meal time. We train them from using bottle to eating solid foods, put them on the potty for 3 to 5 minutes about 15 to 30 minutes after a meal.

Mandarin and Cantonese Immersion Program

We follow the immersion concept to create project-based, play-based and nature-based learning programs in our daycare. Children learn Mandarin and Cantonese while they continue building up the English skills. They gain viability, social capacity and linguistic competence from each other.
