We could not be happier with our experience at Lotus Montessori. The school does an exceptional job creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children are truly cared for while being encouraged to learn, explore, and play. The founder and head teacher, Ms. Anu, is incredibly passionate about early childhood education, which is exactly why we chose this school—and we have no regrets. Her dedication shows in every aspect of how the school is run. No detail is missed. She knows every child deeply, understands their individual strengths and needs, and is genuinely invested in their development. Our daughter attended this school from the age of 2 and was in care from 8:00am–5:30pm. Choosing this school was one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. During her time here, she learned reading, writing, and math in a way that truly stuck. When she entered kindergarten this year, she was reading at a 2nd-grade level and doing math at a 3rd-grade level. Just as importantly, she has a broad base of general knowledge and a love of learning. The Montessori approach—supporting children to learn independently and at their own pace—helped her build real understanding and confidence, which has made her transition to kindergarten not just successful, but joyful. The play environment is also wonderful, and she has made some of her closest friends at this school. It truly feels like a community. As working parents, we deeply appreciated the practical support the school provides, including three meals a day (morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack), which makes daily logistics so much easier. The school also helped facilitate potty training when our daughter first started—something that was immensely helpful and not commonly offered at other childcare centers. We’ve seen the school continually grow, with new activities and opportunities being added for the children over time. Overall, we give this school our highest recommendation and frequently refer other families to consider enrolling. We will absolutely be sending our younger child here as well. We are so grateful for this school and could not be happier with our experience.

Lotus Montessori has truly been a wonderful experience for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth, patience, and professionalism of the entire team. The teachers don’t just supervise. They genuinely guide, listen, and celebrate each child’s unique strengths. With the help of Ms. Anu and the other teachers, LM has become a fantastic environment for kids to learn, develop various skills, and enjoy themselves! I love how the Montessori activities are thoughtfully planned: hands-on learning with practical life skills, beautiful sensory materials, language work, and creative art projects that our triplets can’t wait to show us at home. The outdoor time, music, and cultural activities have really helped broaden their curiosity and confidence. Our Triplets started at Lotus Montessori when they were 2 years old. Now they are 4. We’ve noticed such growth not only academically, but socially and emotionally. Our Triplets now help at home, communicate more clearly, and show so much independence. The daily updates and pictures always reassure us that they’re engaged, supported, and happy. We’re incredibly grateful for Lotus Montessori and the loving community they’ve built. It truly feels like a second home.

Our daughter Aira has been attending Lotus Montessori in San Ramon since August 2024, and we are incredibly pleased with her experience. She genuinely enjoys going to school every day and comes home happy, calm, and full of curiosity. We’ve noticed meaningful growth in her independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills since she started. She often talks about the activities she enjoys and the things she’s learning. It’s clear that she feels safe, engaged, and encouraged to explore at her own pace. We’re so grateful to have found a place where Aira is thriving and building such a strong foundation during these important early years.

Both of my daughters (5 and almost 3) have been going to Lotus Montessori since they were almost 2.5 and both enjoy going to school and like their teachers. The school prioritizes learning and my daughters have shown so much growth in many areas since they started school here. My older daughter just started kindergarten this fall, and I think Lotus Montessori prepared her very well and also made the transition easier.

Highly Recommend – A Fantastic Preschool Experience We’ve had a wonderful experience with this child care and preschool. Both of my kids attend, and the care and education they receive have exceeded our expectations. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. They do a great job balancing academics—like math, science, and language—with social skills, manners, and respectful behavior. My older child started kindergarten fully prepared and even ahead of the curve. My younger one is about to begin kindergarten this year, and I’m confident he’ll be just as ready. Most importantly, my kids are happy and excited to go every day. That speaks volumes. If you’re looking for a nurturing, educational, and affordable preschool, I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

So happy we found this school for our daughter! She is happy and thriving here and I owe that to the wonderful teachers that care for her each day. Anu sends me updates and pictures through out the day. All of the teachers have helped our daughter make the transition from being home full time to being in school full time seamless and enjoyable. I’ve seen so much growth in her socially, emotionally and academically since she’s been enrolled. I can’t say enough good things about this place :) Highly recommend!

I had been looking for a school for my 3yr old, that’s when I found Lotus Montessori. It is my daughter’s first school and was worried if she would be ok but I must say the teachers are very cooperative and very supportive. They made her feel so comfortable right from the day one, she is so happy going to school. I am also very glad that this school has a trained nutritionist which very few schools have , their menu is very kid friendly and my daughter loves it. She has become quite independent very soon. I think this is the best thing that happened to us during this pandemic , they are very cautious and take all necessary precautions at school. All I will say if the child is happy , parents would be very happy.

Lotus Montessori is taking care of my 2.3 years old daughter during the Covid-19 have been safe, clean, healthy and happy. The staff is strictly adhering to all county and California recommended public health protocols with the small group. Lotus Montessori was a great Montessori to begin with and the ability to offer a safe and enriching Montessori experience during these tough times is above and beyond. They should be a model for other preschools/daycares/Montessori in the area as facilities re-open. We had been to quite a few daycares before we came to this one, and we felt SO LUCKY to have finally made it into our perfect school for my daughter. We could not be happier with Lotus Montessori. Overall I would highly recommend this school for kids who love to be creative and well cared environment.
