Advanced Pre-K

Stepping Stone School's Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program nurtures budding scholars, guided by experienced educators. Our Platinum Learning for Life™ curriculum forms a strong foundation for academic and social-emotional success. With a focus on S.T.R.E.A.M., our students explore concepts through hands-on experiences, preparing them for future academic achievements. Graduating well-prepared for kindergarten, they have mastered language skills, developed writing proficiency, and practiced dual language abilities. Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Early Preschool

Intermediates

Our Intermediate program, for children ages 3-4, provides children with many opportunities to explore learning centers and engage in authentic writing experiences. Your child will be introduced to literacy concepts and expand upon mathematical thinking and scientific inquiry through hands-on materials and exploration. Children will also begin to practice social-emotional skills and independently navigate their classroom community.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten as they learn letter-sound relationships and sight-word recognition, and gain an understanding that writing is used to express thoughts and ideas. Children explore concrete mathematical concepts, such as simple addition and subtraction. Stepping Stone School's pre-kindergarten program prepares children for Kindergarten readiness by focusing on pre-reading cognition and important social-emotional skills. Our highly trained teachers tailor weekly theme-based learning plans to each child's needs, following the Platinum Learning for Lif™ curriculum. State-of-the-art learning centers promote mastery in literacy, math, science, technology, art, and music. Writing skills are developed through journaling and BOB Books, while dual language proficiency is practiced in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). Our program emphasizes independence, cooperation, and character building through classroom responsibilities and small group activities.
