Toddlers

Infants

We know how hard it can be to leave your baby in someone else’s care. And while you’re away, you can rest assured that you are leaving your child in caring and capable hands. Through our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment, our caregivers ensure that each child feels secure and comforted. In addition to personal care, our infant teachers focus on approaches to play and learning, cognitive development, communication and language, physical development & social and emotional development.

Twos

At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Infants

Your baby’s brain is developing at an amazing rate, so our infant nursery is all about brain development. In our infant program, we teach tummy time for social bonding and physical development and baby sign language to help your child communicate their needs. Your primary caregiver will help your baby progress through important developmental milestones while working closely with you to provide consistency with feeding, playing and sleeping schedules.

Toddlers

From first steps to first friendships, our toddler childcare program nurtures your whole child—body, mind, and spirit—creating a joyful learning experience filled with exploration, play, and new discoveries. At this exciting stage, toddlers are full of curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm. Our Toddler Program is specifically tailored to the needs of your busy toddler. We lovingly nurture your child through important early milestones, from “self-help” learning skills such as hand washing and putting away their toys, to socializing and forming first friendships.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little one’s future growth and development.
