Responsibilities
Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans tailored to infants and toddlers, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Manage classroom activities effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies that encourage positive interactions.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster a collaborative partnership.
Support children’s early intervention needs by recognizing developmental delays or special education requirements and collaborating with specialists when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, lesson plans, and classroom activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
Promote a safe learning environment by adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification requirements.
Experience

Minimum of 6 ECE units for TA and 24 for Infant/ Toddler teacher required. ECE students are encouraged to apply
Availability to work 2-3 days from 9-5 or 4 days 9-1 or 1-530
Prior experience working with children in childcare settings, or daycare programs is highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development.
Experience teaching physical education or implementing literacy education strategies for young children is advantageous.
Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Proven ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
